Operational Fee

What is our operational fee?

Under the Stoop adds a 13% operational fee to the product total at checkout. This helps cover store operating costs and allows our member vendors to receive 100% of their product sales, with no sales commission or payment processing fees deducted.

Any applicable sales taxes on products are included in the displayed product price.

Why do we charge it?

Running a shared retail space comes with everyday costs, including card processing, vendor payouts, checkout systems, internet and electricity. Our operational fee helps cover these services so independent brands can sell their products in a staffed, permanent retail location.

For example, when you purchase a product priced at $20, the full $20 goes to the member vendor, who is responsible for remitting any applicable taxes included in that amount.

Your purchase helps support local artists, artisans and independent businesses, while the operational fee helps keep the space running.
